I migrated over to my self-hosted domain yesterday and changed the font and sizing.
The only thing that broke was Jetpack’s follower function. If you followed this blog via WordPress, you may want to just subscribe by e-mail instead through the form in the column to the right. Your privacy is guaranteed.
My guess is that it got screwed up when I set up the redirect from the wordpress.com site. My apologies if you were accessing this through that feature.
Also, the font size that I’m using is a tad big for this theme. I wanted to avoid changing the entire theme immediately, just because I don’t believe in jarring redesigns. I will eventually change the site to a theme with broader columns that’s a little easier to edit. I might also adjust the font size down by a smidgen, but all the cool design people tell me to go with big body copy font sizes, so I will be a slave to UX fashion.
I also had to kill the comment bubble on this theme that showed the comment count, because it no longer worked with the larger font size.
